Who we are

The Consulate General of Canada in Boston

The Consulate General of Canada in Boston is one of 161 offices of the Trade Commissioner Service (TCS), part of the Government of Canada. We facilitate and nurture connections to allow companies to reach their highest potential by taking advantage of the benefits on both sides of the Canada/U.S. border.

We provide Canadian business and innovation clients with practical advice, on-the-ground intelligence, and connections to help them achieve their global goals.  We also work with businesses in New England by fostering strong connections to Canada to drive value and innovation to the region.

Our flagship program for Canadian companies is the Canadian Technology Accelerator  (CTA), which is a global business development program by Global Affairs Canada’s Trade Commissioner Service to support the international scale-up of high-growth, high-potential Canadian firms.

For New England based businesses and innovators, our team assists with identifying potential partners, providing information on investing in Canada, fostering R&D collaboration and technology transfer and facilitating supporting venture capital linkages.
