Since the CTA's inception, over 100 mentors have provided CTA clients with over $20 million worth of in-kind services through team mentoring sessions.
In 2014, the Consulate General of Canada in Boston and the CENE (Canadian Entrepreneurs in New England) established the Canadian Mentoring Service (CMS). Based on the MIT Venture Mentoring Service, the CMS is a formal and rigorous program for team mentoring Canadian companies in the CTA.
Mentors are C-level executives, serial entrepreneurs, industry experts, and venture capital or angel investors who offer clients introductions into the Boston ecosystem, communications and marketing advice, and business development strategies. The guidance provided by the CMS represents a high-value in-market service that sets the CTA Boston apart.
